Export

Setup >> Import >> Analyze >> Reports >> Export to 3rd Party Tax Software

I. Print to Paper:

Select "Print Preview"

Select "Print".

II. Export to a File for other Software:

Select File/Export/To Tax Software

From the menu select a desired file format. TAPro will generate a file that you can open using Excel or the indicated program. For new formats have your 3rd. party tax software provider contact our support team.

III. Export to TurboTax®:

Select File/Export/To Tax Software (see Export to a File for the screen shot).
Select an Export format for TurboTax. This creates a .txf file that TurboTax can import.

IV. Export to TaxCut®:

Select File/Export/To Tax Software (see Export to a File for the screen shot).
Select an Export format for TaxCut. This creates a .txf file that TaxCut can import.

Note the "recommended" version will place the wash sales adjustments in the Sales column. This will avoid a complaint by TaxCut but then the Sales total will not match the TAPro Sales total. The alternative export will use a negative Cost number but TaxCut might complain about this but the Sales total will match the TAPro sales total.
