New Features:
1. For Tax Professionals, export to UltraTax!  Now you can use TradeAccountant to reconcile client data then save the results to a file.  UltraTax can import this file into a return.
2. Enter a negative or positive Manual Basis Adjustment.
3. New utility for resetting registration (CTRL-R).
4. New feature, enables direct import of .QIF files if TradeAccountant is closed.  Also while downloading a .QIF file sometimes another programs attempts to capture it.  This feature enables TradeAccountant to receive the file.

This release includes numerous enhancements and improvements. Use this release as a baseline for the 2005 tax season.  It includes improved product update/license update process, improved help wizard, improved reconciliation wizard, improved securities symbol price update, new performance screen (ROI for Covered Calls),  better capture of underlying option details, better file menu navigation and better file import, plus a few more Sync Brokerage.

This file contains setup information for feature enhancements and bug fixes.  Features includes: Find Transactions, Confirm Amount Calculation Utility (to correct imported of broker delivered math inconsistencies), updates to the Options Basis Adjustment Wizard (for Call Exercise and Put Assign), an update to the Reconciliation Wizard part 7 item b) plus an update to the Performance Open Positions view and placement of the Reconcile Gain/Loss button on the main banner.

TAPro Release (3.2.2 Enhancement Release):
This file contains setup information for feature enhancements and bug fixes.  Features includes: Improved Import with shared templates.  The benefit is one TA user can figure out a new import template then send it to others who can add it to their import wizard and use it with one click. Baseline/Transaction & Account Reconciliation Wizards.  The benefit is users can find complex data errors like one incorrect transaction within a list of many.  Expire old Option Contracts Wizard, Improved Options Management.  The benefit is users can manage options faster with less work.  Detailed Gain/Loss Summary Report.  The benefit is users can now run a report and see all of the potential issues they should look into.  Bug fixes include: Ameritrade Sync Download. This is now working again.

We are rearranging a section of our web site to offer conversion templates.  The Supported brokers list will be affected.  There are still some older web based parsers that will be discontinued.

TAPro Release (3.1.0.2 Enhancement Release):
This is an optional upgrade.  This file contains setup information for adding One-Click Sync download for CyberTrader and OptionsExpress.  Enhancements include import of Expired Option events as Auto FIFO transactions.  Exclusion of Journal Events amounts in Transaction Export so the total matches the Transaction Screen.  To use these enhancement first install version 3.1.

TAPro Release (3.1 New Baseline Release):
This is a recommended upgrade by all.  There are numerous improvements.  Here are a few highlights: New Tools menu with Reconciliation Dialog, Fills to Lots Utility, Short and Long Correction Dialog and Sequence Error Correction (trades that go long to short or short to long in one transaction are split into two.  New P&L view with 1099 Sales - Buys Table, Pie & Bar charts.  Relaxation of rules for editing Options names.  Improved Totals in Position view, Cancel Trade Clean Up Utility for Penson Account Holders and much more.  We will offer small patches for the remainder of the tax season.

TAPro Release:
We have finished beta testing and released an update to the web.  This version is more recent than the version distributed at the TradersEXPO show in New York.  We have fine tuned the Add Transactions dialog so the entire product is focused on Transaction Date.  We have added a Baseline Position wizard to simplify reconciliation.

01/14/2005 New! TA Ver. 3.0.0.3.01.14, TAPro Beta update 1

TAPro Release:
This is a major update to TAPro Beta.  The release contains over 25 feature enhancements and updates based on user comments.  Improvements include Import Provide Enhancements, Exercise/Assign/Expire screen notation changes and Wash Sale control for same day fills.  At present Marked-to-Market for Symbols with Corporate Events is not complete.  The next release is likely in 2 weeks.  We welcome your comments.  We are editing the Quick Start Guide and Help File.  For  now select the Page Description help found on each page.  The guide will appear on our website in one week.
